The Spirit with my Spirit
I was saved and baptized in my adolescent years. I have just graduated from college and I can't imagine what my life would be like without the riches in the ministry of Watchman Nee and Witness Lee. This ministry has unveiled to me that I have a human spirit (1 Thessalonians 5:23; 1 Corinthians 6:17; John 4:24) to contact and receive God! This is the most awesome news because I feel that my whole Christian life hinges on the fact that I have a spirit and that I know how to contact God with my spirit. The matter of knowing that I have a spirit sets the tone for my whole Christian life. I have learned to read God's Word with my spirit by calling on His name and praying to Him to contact Him before I read (Romans 10:12, Ephesians 6:17-18).
Through this ministry, I also saw and am still seeing, that when I first contacted God in my spirit, the Triune God came into me to dwell in me as the Spirit. The Spirit is in my spirit! Now day by day, I contact Him and He ministers life to me. All that the Triune God is and all that He went through can now be experienced by me. When I am feeling down and dry, I turn to Him in my spirit and experience Him as the resurrection life. Having realized that I have a spirit, I have contact with Him that is fresh and living.
